24 Hours

That’s all I ask—twenty-four hours. In twenty-four hours, I’ll have a great post ready to go.

Have you ever had one of those weeks where it just seems like you have more than your usual amount of things to do? Where there’s a few more responsibilities that come between you and your free time? I’ve been having one of those weeks. Wanna see what it looks like?

That’s the Econ paper that I was working on today. It’s a riveting, informative piece on the policies of America’s first Secretary of the Treasury, Alexander Hamilton. Covering such fascinating topics as federal assumption of post-Revolutionary War debts, the establishment of a national bank, and governmental support of domestic industry, it’s been hard to tear myself away.

You know I’m being sarcastic, right?

Anyway, that’s what I’ve been up to. Between this Econ paper and another presentation/paper combo coming up for my computer class, I haven’t been able to cook as much as I’d like to. However, I do have something yummy in the works that I’ll be posting tomorrow, provided that I don’t get assigned a surprise dissertation on the history of poisonous tree frogs or something.

Stay tuned!

What beautiful penmanship you display in your notebook! As far as the quiche recipe… everything tastes better with cheese. The pointee toed shoes??? …make my feet hurt just to look at them. The peeps? They don't look comfortable, either! Will continue to peruse your blog in my flipflops and jammies….no glamour here!

Oh econ…something I never took in college. Doesn't sound too interesting so I can only imagine how hard it is to stay out of the kitchen and hit the books instead.
Maybe you can somehow combine economics with food for a project.

"So much time and so little to do. Wait a minute. Strike that. Reverse it." I agree with Mr. Wonka and you.

@mangiabella: Exactly! A stunt double would be wonderful. 😀

@Daisie: Thank you! The best thing about the shoes is that I'll spend most of the concert sitting down. lol Flipflops and jammies are the best! I myself tend to live in sweatpants and old high school t-shirts.

@Sara: Wow! Then you totally know how much fun all this stuff is. haha

@Cardamom Hills: Isn't it annoying when life stuff gets in the way of fun bloggy stuff? 😛

@Rachel: Oooh, not a bad idea! Maybe I can study food budgets or something. Of course, I think this is my last Econ class, so I may just buy myself a celebratory cupcake and call it a day. 😀

@Becky: Truer words have never been spoken.

sounds fun =) Macroeconomics is, to this day, the most useful class I took in college. At the time I don't think you could have even shoved me into a kitchen.
